Due to the internal promotion of the previous person, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Finance Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for providing support to the Finance team including payroll preparation, accounts payable, banking, and general reconciliations.
Your previous experience with payroll preparation coupled with a strong accounts payable background and experience with financial accounting packages such as MYOB or similar will allow you to settle in quickly and become an integral part of the team. Your strength will be your ability to work in a changing environment as this position and our processes develop over time. Above all, you will have a great sense of humour and be looking to make a long term commitment. TAFE studies in Accounting will be highly regarded but is not essential.

- Provisioning of superior cable installation and connections.
- Provisioning of and maintaining supplied customer hardware.

Ref 840: Windows Systems Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and customer service focused Windows Systems Engineer to join our growing Technology
Team. Reporting to the Technology Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring windows environment for anomalies and errors, reporting and escalation of issues of our 200+ servers.
- Required daily support, maintenance, and management of the platforms.
- Level III support and repair, as well as escalation to the Business Application Group and/or Operations.
- Managing enterprise applications responsible for server builds, patch management, virtual machine management, virus scanning, etc.
- Developing and maintaining high standards in establishing procedures and policies to address routine jobs and certain resolution protocols.
- Meeting or exceeding SLA obligations consistently and on an ongoing basis, allowing for accurate metrics to measure response time,
meeting BCP requirements for offsite access, and reducing the time needed to address hardware/software failures.
To be a success in this role you will have:
- 5+ years of managing a Windows Server environment (Windows 200x Server).
- In depth knowledge of virtualisation architectures including VMWare, Xen hypervisors and other virtual management software,
along with hands on experience with live migration techniques, HA deployments and backup management.
- Ability to design, build and manage Active Directory infrastructure.
- Proficiency in DNS, DHCP and other naming services.
- In-depth Knowledge of disk management with SAN, NAS and local storage with an emphasis on disk layout and performance.
- Strong systems engineering skills with an emphasis on enterprise scale architecture.
- Understanding of High Availability, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery concepts as they relate to Open Systems architecture.
- Ability to participate in the on call roster and demonstrated experience in dealing with crisis situations.
- The ability to explain system complexities to users of varying knowledge and experience levels.
