Step 1 - Setup
Insert the Netcomm Easy Setup CD into your CD/DVD drive, if you do not have a CD/DVD drive or have lost your disk, you can download a copy of the program from Adam Website here.
It is best to save the software to your desktop, so it is easy to find and run.
If you are using an USB cable to connect your ADSL Modem to your Computer, you will need replace this cable with an Ethernet cable, and follow the step below.
If you have a single port Netcomm NB6 or a Netcomm NB6plus4 or similar, you will need to plug an Ethernet cable from a LAN port on the back of your ADSL Modem, into the WAN port on the back of the Netcomm v220 ATA. You will then need to plug another Ethernet cable from the LAN port on the Netcomm v220 ATA into the Ethernet port on your computer.
If you are using a Wireless Router, you will need to plug an Ethernet cable in the LAN port on the Netcomm v220 ATA into the Ethernet port on your computer. Once configured, you will need to remove the ATA from your computer and plug it into your Wireless Router. Plug an Ethernet cable from a LAN port on the Wireless Router to the WAN port on the ATA.
Once you are confident you have setup your network correctly, please reboot your computer. This will ensure you are assigned an IP address from the Netcomm v220 ATA rather then from your Netcomm ADSL Modem.
